About Us
Hollowgraf Ltd is a UK-based water technology startup emerging from the world-leading graphene membrane research led by Professor Rahul R. Nair at the National Graphene Institute, The University of Manchester. Our team has deep expertise in membrane-based separation technologies, with a strong focus on advanced two-dimensional (2D) materials for water and resource recovery.

Mission
Hollowgraf is transforming brine management to improve desalination economics. Our Carbon Circular Desalination approach addresses the high operating costs that contribute to the performance and cost gap in medium-scale desalination plants, offering a more efficient pathway to tackling global water scarcity.

Our Vision
Desalination does not have to be an environmental or economic compromise. We aim to help transform desalination into a circular, value-generating ecosystem, reducing waste, recovering value, and supporting a more sustainable and economically resilient water future.
